Celibate?

Being new in Belgium, I was filling up forms for medical insurance, my bank accounts, utilities etc.

Everytime the forms ask me to check the appropriate box under Civil Status I hesitate. You see, Single in French is CELIBITAIRE.

Huwat? Ano daw? Celibate? hehehe
