Spent my New Year in Berlin with longtime buddy Mike (who's studying in Vienna and Poland for his Masters). We both decided to meet up in Berlin. But Dang It was really too cold. haha. We were able to squeeze our frozen selves into the crowd right up to about 20 meters away from the main stage where we spent 4 hours just before New Year 2008 struck in the cold watching German famous singers and actors dance and sing to mostly american songs - until the countdown. hahaha.
It snowed hard the day after New Year's and so I got the cold and some cough. I guess it's al well worth it though. Not to mention we got drunk (originally wrote drank here until i discovered the error to my horror) clubbing the nights away. Jan. 2nd, we were treated to a pinoy lunch by Mike's friend Jen who cooked lechon kawali!!
