Tulips in Bloom and Sundry

Took these while going for a walk with the Don's folks, and my mom was so awed with the flowers. . .
of course, it all ends with  food.

Not The Next Boracay, stupid

The Inquirer featured this beach in Lahus Island, somewhere in the Bicol Region tagging it as the next Boracay.

NEXT BORACAY WITH A DIFFERENCE Lahus Island in the remote town of Caramoan in Camarines Sur with its stunning feature of a back-to-back beach is just one of a spread of pristine islets with powdery white sand. One of them, Gota beach, is the site of the French edition’s eighth season of the wildly popular reality TV show, “Survivor.” According to Gov. Luis Raymund Villafuerte, the local government will implement a P200-million development plan in the peninsular town to include the building of roads and an airport. Unlike Boracay, Caramoan’s development will be strictly monitored, Villafuerte says. MUNICIPAL GOV’T OF CARAMOAN

Walk with me

Walk with me
and hold my hand
along the cobbled steps
of the road called Life

Walk with me
and hold my hand
while we trod along
its twists and turns

Walk with me
and stay with me
Grow old with me
and see the sunset
of our lives

Walk with me
and hold my hand

Who the hell is this?

I was snapping photos left of right, of my parent's checking out the wonderful architecture of Brussel's Grand Place.  When all of a sudden, while editting the photos in iPhoto, this face popped out of the contact sheet.  Smiling face, to boot!

There you go, for sneaking into my picture, your face will now be seen all over the world. (at least where my blog is being read, and then some.\

DC Madame, the Pimp Extraordinaire kills self

Remember the Washington DC Pimp who had high profile powerful clients from politics to business? She decided to end her life recently. Oh well, may she rest in peace.

here's the news feed from http://news.sky.com/skynews/article/0,,30200-1314757,00.html?f=rss :

Powerful clients of a woman who ran a high-class prostitute ring in Washington are fearing their sex secrets will be exposed after her apparent suicide.

Palfrey was facing years in jail

Deborah Jeane Palfrey - dubbed the DC Madam - was found hanging from a nylon rope in a shed at her mother's home in Tampa, Florida.

Police captain Jeffrey Young said: "Handwritten notes were found on scene that describes the victim's intention to take her life.

"Foul play does not appear to be involved."

But there are fears she may have handed a "little black book" of clients to the media before her death.

Sky News Washington analyst Jon-Christopher Bua said: "One can only imagine how many Washington DC power brokers are shaking in their Gucci loafers this morning wondering who has possession of her 'Little Black Book'.

"Ms Paltry already released a few of the names of her clients as a teaser to media outlets to pay for legal defence.

"Some here in DC think she held back the names of her most high profile clients to assure her financial security or to protect her own life.

"The fear that paralyzes the guilty - and they know who they are - comes from the notion that she may have handed over her 'Little Black Book' to one of our top newspapers or media outlets.

"Only Ms Palfrey knows for sure and she is no longer available for questioning."

Black Kid with Blue Eyes! Wow!

I was waiting for bus 54 at the Porte de Namur stop last weekend when I saw something very very rare.

Wow. A black kid with real really blue eyes.

I was in awe!!!!

Now, why can't pinoy's have blue eyes? Have any of you come across pinoys with blue eyes?

(my question is more geared to refer to unmixed pinoys, but hell if there are half pinoys with blue eyes, tell me about em anyway)
